ICYMI：联邦烟草21法律现在是有效的

虽然美国食品和药物管理局（FDA）有六个月的时间来最终确定联邦烟草21法律，但该机构宣布零售商卖出任何烟草产品为21岁以下的消费者卖出任何烟草产品。

2019年12月20日，唐纳德统统委员会签署立法增加了联邦法律最低年龄，从18至21日购买烟草产品。

"2019年12月20日，总统索格ned legislation to amend the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, and raise the federal minimum age of sale of tobacco products from 18 to 21 years. It is now illegal for a retailer to sell any tobacco product – including cigarettes, cigars and e-cigarettes – to anyone under 21. FDA will provide additional details on this issue as they become available."
